It can be an effective way of relaxing muscle spasms and relieving pain.

Inge Barnard B.Sc Physio (Stell)
Inge obtained her B.Sc Physiotherapy honours degree from Stellenbosch University in 2012. She then did her community service year at Port Alfred Hospital. Being the only physiotherapist in this rural setting had its challenges but also taught her great lessons in innovation, problem solving and working beyond adversities. After her community service year she continued her work in Port Alfred for two more years. Feeling that she was ready for a new challenge she decided to go into private practice were she could focus on her special interests which include sport and orthopaedics.
Inge is registered with the HPCSA and the SASP and regularly attends courses to improve her knowledge and skills.
She has always had a passion for sports and currently enjoys running, outdoor activities and the occasional netball match.
