SERVICES
Inge Barnard B.Sc Physio (Stell)
Inge obtained her B.Sc Physiotherapy honours degree from Stellenbosch University in 2012. She then did her community service year at Port Alfred Hospital. Being the only physiotherapist in this rural setting had its challenges but also taught her great lessons in innovation, problem solving and working beyond adversities. After her community service year she continued her work in Port Alfred for two more years. Feeling that she was ready for a new challenge she decided to go into private practice were she could focus on her special interests which include sport and orthopaedics.
Inge is registered with the HPCSA and the SASP and regularly attends courses to improve her knowledge and skills.
She has always had a passion for sports and currently enjoys running, outdoor activities and the occasional netball match.
Ghardé Geldenhuys B.Sc Physio (Stell), MSc Physio (OMT)
Ghardé obtained her B.Sc Physiotherapy honours degree from Stellenbosch University in 2007. She thereafter completed her community service year at the Port Elizabeth Hospital Complex where she gained valuable experience in various fields of Physiotherapy. Private Practice soon followed where she treated both hospital and out-patients. During this time she discovered her passion for Orthopaedics and returned to Stellenbosch University to complete her MSc degree in OMT (Orthopaedic Manual Therapy), making her a level 2 APDL qualified physiotherapist. Ghardé has a real passion for what she does.
She is registered with the HPCSA and SASP, specifically the OMT group, regularly attending sport and orthopaedic physiotherapy courses to improve her knowledge and abilities.
She also possesses a BA in Psychology from the University of Washington, Seattle (USA). She finds this and the fact that she competed at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games in artistic gymnastics helps her relate to her patients. She currently enjoys running, mountain biking, cross fit and dancing.

BG FIT SUCCESS RESULTS
BG FIT PROCESS
1. Pre-Fit Interview
Every fit- whether it's for a novice or experienced cyclist- starts with a brief interview between a trained technician and rider that addresses the individual's injury history, needs and goals.
2. Flexibility Assignment
This evaluation gains an accurate picture of the individual's flexibility and other physical attributes, including assessment of foot structure, knee position, spinal curve, shoulder extension, hip flexion and leg length, among others.
3. Side View
Assessed using the side view of the rider, the goal is to deliver a correct neutral position that's both powerful and comfortable through adjustments to seat height, handlebar height, stem length and cleat position.
4. Front View
Analysis from frontal view to optimize hip, knee and foot alignment for greater performance and balanced power delivery. includes analysis of pedal and shoe placement and squareness on the saddle.
5. Follow Up
After a week or so, the technician calls to discuss the effectiveness of the adjustments and to answer any other questions or concerns the rider may have.
